Our Heart for People
Out of a heart to see people live a life of significance and a desire to reach people and build lives, lead Pastor Steve Robinson, along with other Church of the King staff and advisors, birthed what is now called LEAD College, in August of 2009.
LEAD College is more than a school; it is an experience that reaches around the world. It offers opportunities for anyone to receive hands-on ministry experience, training from pastors and missionaries and the chance to gain accredited Bible classes. LEAD College is not your ordinary college. Birthed in Mandeville, Louisiana, with a local footprint in the central Gulf Coast, LEAD College was founded to champion the calling of students for ministry and the marketplace.

Ministry Training
Ministry training at LEAD College is what sets us apart from a traditional college. At LEAD College, we pair academic biblical training with hands-on application in ministry that empowers students to take ownership in every area of life. Students get the leadership training and opportunities to develop the skills needed to change the world.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
LEAD College challenges students to live a life of excellence through living a healthy, active lifestyle and growing their leadership abilities. During their time at LEAD College, students will be trained in key areas of leadership that will help them succeed in ministry and marketplace.
Spiritual Formation
While at LEAD College, it is our hope that students would develop life-long friendships with one another. We believe in the power of community and discipleship and how it helps shape the life of every believer throughout their journey, which is why our staff strives to foster an atmosphere of community in every setting.

Because Reaching People, Building Lives takes great leadership, LEAD College was created by Pastor Steve to train the next generation of leaders. Our students have the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in our church’s dynamic ministries as well as with top local professionals in a variety of fields.
